MTV’s hit reality show delivered its highest-rated season finale yet on Thursday night, drawing a 7.3 rating in the 12-to-34 demographic, up 20 percent from the Season 2 finale.
About 7.6 million total viewers tuned in to the telecast. “Jersey Shore”‘s third season is the top TV show of the year in the 12-to-34 demographic.
Season to date, “Jersey Shore” is up 35 percent from its second season average (7.7 vs.

By Sean O’Connell Mondo, the art boutique arm of the Alamo Drafthouse, has been busy catering to geek cinema fanatics who like to bring a piece of the movie-going experience home with them.
Recently, Mondo collaborated with Duncan Jones to commemorate his debut film, “Moon,” and his anticipated follow-up, “Source Code.”
Today, the boutique revealed two posters tied to Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch,” which opens in theaters Friday, March 25.

The interior has been brightened with fresh paint.The owners are Cesar Miranda, who is also manager, and his wife, Dalila Alonzo. Miranda says his restaurant is the only one in the metro area serving all Ecuadorean food.Both a lunch menu and a dinner menu are offered. BOSTON (AP) — St. Patrick’s Day may have been Thursday but the two biggest St. Patrick’s Day parades in Massachusetts are kicking off this weekend.
The parades scheduled for South Boston and Holyoke on Sunday are expected to attract hundreds of thousands of spectators.
Boston’s parade, which started in 1901, features floats and Irish pipe bands and kicks off at 1 p.m. at Broadway.
Boston authorities are promising to make the parade as family-friendly as possible and clamp down on excessive drinking.
